My name is Binaebi Akah. I am a Human Computer Interaction Design masters student at Indiana University, and I need your help. I am attempting to find, classify, and analyze Steampunk projects to help me understand the creative process.

The goal is to create design guidelines based on what I learn from the creative process of making something “Steampunk” so  designers may empower users to make an artifact their own. Read more about my thesis at my blog, Siriomi Reflects.

What do you have to do?

There are so many Steampunk projects that I cannot, or will not, be able to find on my own. If you have the time, energy, or inclination to help me with my master’s thesis, sign up as a contributor.

When you find an awesome, mediocre, or ugly “Steampunk” project, contribute it to Rate My Steampunk.

That’s okay, feel free to stop by anyway to rate the contributed Steampunk projects so I get an idea for what consists of amateur, intermediate, expert, sloppy, fake, authentic, professional, etc, Steampunk appropriations.
